An internationally recognized authority on Parkinson’s exercise, Patrick works with people with Parkinson’s disease as a trainer to improve their health and function. Patrick also performs in-services to rehab facilities for those who are medically credentialed, physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and speech therapists, to introduce them to this unique and effective approach to exercise (SmartXPD) a revolutionary and leading edge program specifically designed to improve function based on the most current research that delivers results.
Patrick also regularly speaks to Parkinson’s support groups and donates his time as an advocate for PWP. He is President of the Parkinson’s Community Los Angeles, a nonprofit dedicated to making lives better for PWP and their care partners, today.

A Trainer and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with Distinction, Patrick integrates secretly held techniques used by top trainers and coaches to prepare their elite athletes for competition and applies these principles to his unique exercise program for Parkinson’s disease.
Patrick is the creator of multiple DVD programs under the SmartX-PD brand. All products and DVDs are designed to address and improve the symptoms caused by Parkinson’s. The Parkinson’s Exercise Ball and the Brain&Body Bar are exercise tools used by individuals, trainers and rehab facilities worldwide, to improve function and health.
Patrick also produced the revolutionary 5 Minute Parkinson’s Workout DVD and the Parkinson’s Exercise Program with a Towel & Tennis Ball DVD. These are cost effective options designed to target the symptoms.
Patrick has served as an advocate for over 10 years and is currently President of the Parkinson’s Community Los Angeles. PCLA is a non-profit dedicated to providing educational and life affirming events and subsidizing services that improve the lives of those living with Parkinson’s and their families.
